Returns Policy

At CarryAm, it is our aim to see you satisfied with our service. This policy was drafted as part of our efforts to ensure the utmost client satisfaction.

Note: This returns, refund, and cancellation policy is applicable to only Senders on the CarryAm platform.


The CarryAm returns policy gives you three (3) calendar days to return a shipment. Shipments should be returned to the nearest logistics agent location or CarryAm store; you will not be charged any shipping fee for returns, but will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

Shipments are returned for any of the reasons below:

  • Shipped item was damaged by carrier during the delivery process
  • Wrong shipment was delivered

Refunds (if applicable):

Refunds requests will be treated only if the shipment is damaged during the delivery process by the carrier.

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund, after an investigation to determine if you qualify.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and your CarryAm wallet will be credited with the shipping cost and the item value, minus the insurance fee, within 7 calendar days. If you haven’t received a refund after the 7 calendar days, please contact us using the email and phone number below.

To begin the returns and refund process, send an email to contact@carryam.com. To complete your returns or refunds request, we require the shipment id and delivery code.

There are certain situations where returns and refunds requests won’t be granted or accepted:

  • If the item is returned after 3 days from the delivery date
  • Item is not returned in the same condition it was received
  • Shipment returned with missing or damaged parts
  • Item not returned in its original packaging, and with any accessories or bonus items


You have the right to cancel your active shipments on the CarryAm platform. To exercise this right, contact CarryAm customer care on contact@carryam.com with the shipment details, to request a cancellation before accepting any bids. However, any cancellations done after a shipment is paid for and booked will attract a cancellation charge.

To cancel a booked shipment, go to the ‘Booked’ shipments list in your sender dashboard, select the particular shipment, and click on the ‘Cancel shipment’ button. Your CarryAm wallet will be credited with the logistics fee within 3 working days, minus the cancellation charge and insurance fee.
